Every now and then, I come across a song that ‘strikes a chord’ with me. The latest is ‘How Long Has It Been’ by Mosie Lister. Here's the first verse:

Since you talked with the Lord

How long since you prayed?
How long since you stayed
On your knees till the light shone through?
How long has it been
Since you knew that He cared for you?
When was the last time? When I talked with God? How long did I pray? Actually stayed and prayed? Listened to Him? Felt the warmth of His love and care? When and for how long?
How long has it been?
